Biography
Prof. Raja Yasser Shahbaz is a distinguished Professor of Medicine with special interests in Gastroenterology, Pulmonary Medicine, and Metabolic Disorders. Over the years, he has made significant contributions to internal medicine, serving in key positions at Jinnah Hospital, Bahria Hospital, Hameed Latif Hospital, and CMH Lahore Medical College.
He played a frontline role during the COVID-19 pandemic, managing over 10,000 inpatients and 70,000 outpatients. He is currently a Professor of Medicine at RLKUMC, a supervisor for the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), and is actively involved in postgraduate training in medicine and emergency care.
Prof. Shahbaz is known for his hands-on involvement in intensive care and emergency medicine. He also has extensive experience in endoscopic procedures and managing chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.
