Biography
Dr. Ahmad Masood Ghumman is a highly experienced orthopaedic and sports surgeon with specialized expertise in joint replacement and arthroscopic sports surgeries. Over the course of his career, he has gained significant experience in managing complex trauma, periarticular fractures, and performing knee and hip replacement surgeries, as well as arthroscopic meniscal and ACL reconstructions.
Dr. Ghumman began his medical journey in Pakistan and continued to train and practice in the United Kingdom and Germany, where he refined his skills in trauma and joint replacement surgery. He served as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in several prestigious UK hospitals, including Queen Mary Hospital London, Chase Farm and Barnet Hospital London, and Selly Oak University Hospital Birmingham.
In 2008, he returned to Pakistan and has since been delivering advanced orthopaedic care. He is actively involved in clinical research, regenerative medicine, and the advancement of minimally invasive sports surgery techniques. Dr. Ghumman is also a life member of the Pakistan Arthroscopy Sports Surgery Society.
Currently, he practices at Medcare International Hospital Gujranwala and Horizon Hospital Lahore, where he remains committed to offering high-quality, state-of-the-art orthopaedic care.
