He graduated from Punjab Medical College, Faisalabad in 1997 and went on to complete his fellowship in Nephrology from Post Graduate Medical Complex, Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore. With over 25 years of experience in the field of Nephrology, Dr. Awan has held significant positions including Senior Registrar and Assistant Professor. He has been a key figure in successfully running Dialysis and Renal Transplant programs. His extensive involvement in under- and post-graduate medical training, as well as his contributions to national and international Nephrology conferences, further solidify his leadership in the field.
